Because of late disbursement of Education Operational Aid (BOP), the wage of hundreds of honorary teachers in senior high schools (SMA) and vocational schools (SMK) in East Jakarta is still not received for two months. Not only that, it also affects on the payment of electricity and water bills as well as students’ practice activities in schools which threatened to be sealed.
This is too bad. Eid ul Fitr is coming. When would our wage paid? Not only the wage is small, its payment is also hampered. Please give clarity
“The BOP should be disbursed on the 20th every month. But until now, there is no clarification on when the aid will be disbursed. If this continues, the electricity and water flows will be disconnected. We are confused to get fund, while studying activities keep running,” said SMKN 48 Headmaster, Eko Wibowo, Thursday (6/26).

On last June 2, all headmasters have been gathered. At that time, it was found out that some schools had not finished the report.
“School authorities should give the report on time. But on June 23, the report has finished and we have processed the BOP disbursement. Hopefully the aid would already be available on Friday (6/27),” he uttered.
Budiana explained that all schools must submit the report on time, because the payment of BOP must be done collectively.
“This becomes a lesson for schools to make the report on time,” he asserted.
